Thomasville, Ga. (March. 2024) — Legacy Village at Plantation Manor names Frank Dinie as Executive Director. Dinie has over 25 years of experience working with seniors in a variety of settings, including nursing homes, hospice services, assisted living, memory care and independent living communities.
Dinie received a degree in Communications from Kent State University, upon which he quickly entered the senior living industry. He is specialized in memory care and has become experienced in giving presentations and seminars titled, “Celebrate the Moment! Understanding and Caring for Someone with Dementia”, tailored for seniors, family members, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. Seeing a need, he also launched the “Joy Inspired Senior Center” for Mitchell County seniors, which he currently chairs the advisory council.
In 2011, Dinie put his senior living career on pause to fulfill a college dream of full-time ministry. After becoming ordained in 2015, Dinie and his family moved from Arizona to Atlanta, Ga. to become children’s pastors in Decatur. In 2021, he took the position of Lead Pastor at The Cross Church in Camilla, Ga., and will continue to pastor while serving as Executive Director at Legacy Village.
Originally from Ohio, Dinie and his wife, Amy, spent many years in Phoenix, Az. raising their children. He is the proud father of four children: Michael, Rachael, Rebecca and Sarah. He has written a book, “The Joshua Journey”, which is a “rite of passage” curriculum for boys and girls. In his free time, Dinie enjoys golfing, fishing in his pond, college football (Go Buckeyes!), and time spent with his family.
“I believe that everyone needs the right environment to thrive in life, and I am committed to helping seniors become empowered for successful living. I am thrilled to join this team as we continue to serve seniors in the Thomasville area,” said Dinie.
