DOUG VEAZEY ADVANCES TO CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER OF LEGACY SENIOR LIVING

Cleveland, Tenn. (Jan 2024) — Legacy Senior Living is excited to announce the appointment of Doug Veazey to the position of Chief Operating Officer of both Legacy Senior Living and Dominion Senior Living. With over 21 years of experience in the senior living industry, Veazey is well equipped to assume this position of leadership.

Doug Veazey began in the senior living industry in 2002 as Division Vice President of Operations for Century Park Associates, a division of Life Care Centers of America, where he was responsible for operational oversight of 32 Independent Living and Assisted Living communities and opening five new communities across the country. In 2016, Veazey transitioned to Enlivant Senior Living, acting as Senior Vice President of Operations. Under his leadership, Veazey helped Enlivant grow from 18 communities to 64 communities across ten states and build exceptional regional leadership teams.   

In June of 2019, Veazey joined Dominion Senior Living as Senior Vice President of Operations-Everlan and focused on launching and developing four Everlan communities, across three states. In 2020, Veazey was promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations for the entire 17 community portfolio of Dominion Senior Living.   

As Veazey transitions into the position of Chief Operating Officer, he will assume responsibility for Legacy Senior Living’s 17 independent living, assisted living and Alzheimer’s care communities.

Doug Veazey and his wife of 37 years, Rachel, have been blessed with two wonderful sons, Benjamin and the late Michael. Together, the Veazeys are grateful to be serving the Greatest Generation with honor, respect and integrity.
