HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (September 2023) — Legacy Village of Hendersonville, a premier assisted living and memory care community, is grateful to have experienced John Pugh join their team as Executive Director. Having spent over 35 years in the senior living industry, Pugh is an asset to keeping Legacy Village of Hendersonville a safe, comfortable, and friendly home for seniors of Sumner County.

Originally from Nashville, Pugh attended David Lipscomb College (now Lipscomb University) and received a bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology. He credits his degree to helping him understand individual and group behavior, a skill highly valuable in a senior living context.

Pugh loves spending time with his wife, Gayla, his daughter, Jessie, his son-in-law, Khari, and his Goldendoodle, John Wayne. He greatly appreciates the lessons his family teaches him, including the lessons he learned from assisting in the care of his grandparents, mother, and in-laws in the later stages of their lives.

Pugh feels very fortunate to be able to continue working in middle Tennessee, but he feels most fortunate to be able to continue serving and loving the Greatest Generation.
