Gail Weatherill Named Area Director of Clinical Support for Legacy Senior Living

CLEVELAND, Tenn. (April 24, 2019) – Gail Weatherill has been named area director of clinical support for Legacy Senior Living, which operates a family of senior living communities throughout the Southeast specializing in independent living, assisted living or Alzheimer’s care services.

Weatherill will oversee resident and family care delivery processes through training, coaching and mentoring leadership team members at Legacy Senior Living facilities in Virginia and northeastern Tennessee, including Renaissance Assisted Living and The Harbor at Renaissance of Greene County, Va.; Renaissance of Annandale, Va.; and Sycamore Springs Senior Living Community in Elizabethton, Tenn.

She has a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience and will be a great resource as we continue investing in the excellence of our clinical teams,” said Chris Terry, regional vice president of operations for Legacy Senior Living.

She brings 39 years of RN experience, 18 years experience in intensive care, and 20 years of geriatrics and long term care to her new role. Weatherill is a graduate of Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, BSN.

Weatherill maintains a closed Facebook support group for caregivers all over the world, and she lives by the motto, “What the brain cannot remember, the heart can never forget.”

A widowed mother of two grown daughters, she lives in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Charlottesville, Va.
