Phillip Cook Named Chaplain Program Coordinator for Cleveland-Based Legacy Senior Living

(March 23, 2017) – Phillip Cook has been named the Chaplain Program Coordinator for Legacy Senior Living, the Cleveland-based management company of 12 independent, assisted living and memory care facilities throughout the Southeast. The chaplaincy program, now headed by Pastor Cook, was developed in 2016 at all 12 Legacy Senior Living facilities.

CLEVELAND, Tenn. (March 23, 2017) – Phillip Cook has been named the Chaplain Program Coordinator for Legacy Senior Living, the Cleveland-based management company of 12 independent, assisted living and memory care facilities throughout the Southeast.

The chaplaincy program, now headed by Pastor Cook, was developed in 2016 at all 12 Legacy Senior Living facilities. A chaplain provides ministerial needs that are in keeping with the residents’ faith at each facility.

Cook, an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God, will provide support to each facility chaplain coordinator as well as develop the quality of spiritual care provided throughout the Legacy Senior Living network.

Pastor Cook began his ministerial career in 1968 and has served pastorates in nine churches. Throughout the past 35 years, he has also served as an evangelist, teacher and church administrator in various locations. In 1988, he founded and currently continues to serve as president of Wounded Warrior Ministries International. He attended Valley Forge Christian College in Phoenixville, Pa., and Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn., where he studied theology.
